Porec, Istria 300 / Anthony Bilić, winner of the shortest section of 168 km
In its third edition, the Istria 300 brought together 2,800 cyclists from as many as 40 countries.
All participants started from the Poreč waterfront, where they finished the ride, and in accordance with the slogan of the event Ride your limits! they could, as every year, choose a route length of 300, 242 or 168 kilometers during the ride.
The shortest section of this cycling event with a length of 168 km belonged to Anthony Bilić and Nicolas Gojković who completed the course in 4:42:26. 22 seconds faster than the Italian Andrea Ciminella. Among the female drivers, Denise Zohrer was first, Maja Mecnigar was second, while Lara Meirbrugger finished third.
The 242 km section was driven fastest by Gerald Grundner. With a gap of 1.49 minutes behind him, Klemen Jančan crossed the finish line, while Dean Bratup was third. Among female drivers, Valerie Rupitsch was first, Ana Šumah was second, while Anna-Loe Goetze finished third.
the winner on the longest, 300-kilometer route is the Slovenian Tadej Sedar with a time of 8:57:07, while the Slovenian Laura Šimenc won the women’s competition with a time of 9:48:57.
